Is a Brazilian Butt Lift in Your Future?

It’s looking like 2015 is going to be the year of the butt, the Brazilian butt lift that is. While this procedure isn’t anywhere near as popular as a breast augmentation, it is rapidly growing in popularity as more and more women strive to become “Bootylicious”. Whether the trend is influenced by celebrities with full bottoms (think Kim Kardashian) or women frustrated with pants that just don’t fit, the butt lift is an up and coming plastic surgery procedure to consider if you want a behind that is more pronounced. If you want to give your booty a boost, come see Dr. Lewis and talk about your options.

What is the Brazilian Butt Lift?

A Brazilian butt lift uses your body’s own fat to naturally augment your buttocks. Implants in the buttock have a high rate of complications (including positioning problems, pain, rotation, and infection), but since the butt lift uses your own fat, not an artificial implant, the rate of complication is much lower and the results can be just as stunning.

Since the Brazilian butt lift uses fat from other areas of the body to augment the buttocks, this can mean big improvements in other areas too including the abdomen, thighs, hips, or flanks. Not only do you get the booty you’ve always wanted, but you can refine your midsection or thighs at the same time!

Understanding the Procedure

A Brazilian butt lift is a two part procedure that combines both liposuction and a fat transfer. First liposuction is used to remove fat from other areas of the body to be transplanted into the buttocks. Before your operation you’ll consult with Dr. Lewis to choose the best site or sites for fat removal. The harvested fat is cleaned and prepared for transfer.

After the fat is ready it is carefully injected into the buttocks through a series of injections. Fat is deposited both into the muscle and into the deep fat deposits. Overall the entire procedure takes between 2-4 hours start to finish for both the fat removal and the injections.

What Type of Results Can I Expect from a Brazilian Butt Lift?

When considering a Brazilian butt lift, the matter of change is important to many women. They want to know how much their buttocks will change. The results can be dramatic. The operation can and does increase size, but that isn’t all. It can also improve firmness, correct asymmetry, and enhance your shape and contour.

Once you’re fully healed, your new and improved buttocks will look and feel natural. Best of all, the results are permanent; this isn’t like a filler that you’ll need to have redone every few months. With a Brazilian butt lift you can finally have that booty bump you’ve always wanted.

A fuller butt awaits. Contact us today to schedule your Brazilian butt lift consultation with Dr. Lewis.
