Patient: 36-year-old female, had a breast augmentation by another surgery in approximately 12 years prior to this visit. She had noted 2 years prior at that her right breast and become smaller. She was also unhappy with the flatness on the top of her left breast.
Surgery Performed: Dr. Lewis replaced both implants; a complete capsulectomy was performed on the both sides in order to create the appropriate pocket for the implants and to improve the contour.
Patient: 38-year-old female, wanted her breast enhancement to increase the volume of her breasts. Dr. Lewis noted that she did have some mild breast ptosis (droop), but felt as though a dual plane breast augmentation would allow resolution of the ptosis without requiring a mastopexy.
Surgery Performed: He performed a dual plane breast augmentation in placed 350 cc smooth round silicone gel implants in the submuscular position (dual plane).
Surgery Outcome: The patient was very happy with results.
Patient: 47 year old female, 8 years status post gastric bypass and weight loss of 130 pounds. She had been unhappy with the appearance of her breasts. She does not like the excessive sag.
Surgery Performed: She had a mastopexy performed. This was done with a standard "anchor "type incision due to the amount of excess skin that she had on her breasts.
Surgery Outcome: This allowed restoration of a more normal contour to her breasts. Of note at the same time, she had a tummy tuck. She was very happy with results of both of these, and later return for lower body lift.
Patient: 19-year-old female, presented to Dr. Lewis on referral from her primary care physician, she reported upper back and neck and shoulder pain since she was 13 years old. She was interested in a breast reduction to decrease the symptoms. She was also unhappy with the shape of her breasts and would not like how low her nipples were on her breasts.
Surgery Performed: Dr. Lewis performed a superior medial pedicle breast reduction and removed approximately 850 g from each side.
Surgery Outcome: She was very happy with results of the procedure.
Patient: 25 year old female, presented to Dr. Lewis wanting larger breast that did not sag as much. Dr. Lewis did not think she needed a lift to give her better shape, but that a partially submuscular (dual plane) implant would improve both the size of the breast and the shape.
Surgery Performed: He placed 325 cc saline implants through an inframammary incision in a dual plane (submuscular position).
Surgery Outcome: Patient was very happy with the result.
