My name is Gordon Lewis; I have been a plastic surgeon in Richmond Virginia for almost 9 years. I am a native of Richmond and am happy to offer my care to thousands of patients in the area and beyond. It is important to me to offer the highest quality care and to give the most personalized service available.
I obtained an undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. I trained with a plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Virginia, completed fellowship training at the Duke University Medical Center.

I am affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Richmond Academy of Medicine and the Medical Society of Virginia. I’m also an associate member of the American College of Surgeons and a candidate member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

I am truly passionate about my patients, about helping them to realize natural and beautiful results from cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. My goal is to offer the best possible care and to bring experience, talent, artistry and an unequaled attention to detail to every unique patient.

I’m married and have three amazing children. I enjoy running, biking, skiing, and time with my family.

In my career I have served as a Corpsman in the US Navy, trained as a Certified Massage Therapist, I qualified as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and worked in family practice, General Surgery, and now Plastic Surgery with Lewis Plastic Surgery since 2010.

I am responsible for general nursing, checking patients, assisting in minor surgery, discussing cosmetic consult pricing and scheduling with patients.  I am the main contact for all breast reduction patients.
I enjoy working with our patients the most, they are all here for something important to them, whether it be medical or cosmetic and that makes it important to me. I also think we have a great team and that helps make this a great workplace.
I am very caring and I am truly interested in how our patients feel and doing my part to make them comfortable in whatever we are helping them with.

I am a mom of 2 teenagers and a French bulldog, about to be married to a firefighter, love to read and the beach is my happy place!

I’m from Costa Rica from where I have a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. In 2011 I graduated from the Institute of Advanced Medical Esthetics in Richmond Virginia with a Master in Esthetics. I joined LPS as their Master Esthetician in 2013 and my role goal is to educate our patients on how to obtain and maintain beautiful healthy skin.
For me, LPS is all about a great working team.

My biggest strength is my honesty and a fun fact about me is that I love sports.
