How Do I Achieve Perfectly Plump Lips?

Lip-AugmentationAre you suffering from lip envy? When you look at the sultry, plump lips on your favorite celebrity, do you wish you were blessed with the perfect pout? Great genetics aren’t the only way to get full, voluptuous lips. Ask Dr. Lewis about your options for lip enhancement.

How Can Lip Enhancement Benefit Me?

Grab a mirror and look at your lips. What areas do you want to improve? Lip enhancement can transform the lips. Patients often come in asking for help correcting:

  • Thin, aging lips
  • Natural lack of lip volume
  • Uneven lips
  • Drooping mouth corners
  • Lines and wrinkles around the mouth

If you’re unhappy with the appearance of your lips, come see Dr. Lewis. He’ll explain your options and help you determine if non-surgical lip enhancement is a possibility.

Non-Surgical Lip Augmentation

We use Restylane and Juvederm, hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers, for non-surgical lip enhancement. These injectable fillers are known for their smooth, natural-looking results. If you love your results, you’ll need retreatment every 6-8 months to maintain your new look.

The lip augmentation process begins with an in-depth consultation with Dr. Lewis. During this consultation you’ll have the opportunity to describe your ideal lips. Come prepared to discuss the aspects of your lips that you like and dislike. Dr. Lewis will use this information to create a detailed enhancement plan and to determine the precise location and dosage of each injection.

Most patients find the needle for these fillers to be very small and well tolerated, but a topical numbing cream is available if desired. A series of injections will be made in and around the lips. After treatment you can resume your regular activities with no downtime. Results are immediately visible, although you may experience some swelling, bruising, or redness.
